Afonso is the co-founder and CTO; A strategic planner, and focused problem-solver, he has been building and selling cybersecurity products for 20 years – for companies like McAfee, Websense, Qualys and Tenable.

Afonso earned a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico.

Allison Wong

Allison Wong is our Co-founder and member of the Board of Directors; she is a cybersecurity expert that has been architecting and selling products for McAfee, Symantec, Forcepoint, and FireEye for 20 years. Over that period she has closed over $1B in sales, and deployed some of the most sophisticated defense in depth strategies in the world, protecting critical business and public infrastructures all over the world.

Sean McBride
Advisor and Investor

Sean McBride was our first Angel Investor; he has pioneered the multidisciplinary field of threat and vulnerability intelligence for industrial environments. At the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) he instituted and led the vulnerability analysis and situational awareness reporting elements foundational to the DHS ICS-CERT. In 2009 he co-founded Critical Intelligence (acquired by iSIGHT Partners in 2015) to help organizations that own and operate electric generating stations, oil refineries, and water treatment plants understand threats to the industrial processes they operate. In August 2017 Sean joined Idaho State University’s College of Technology to develop technical professionals fluent in both industrial control and cyber security.

Sean’s work towards understanding the cyber threat environment for control systems has been featured in the popular press, in DOE-sponsored trainings, and presented to national and international audiences at conferences such as the SCADA Security Scientific Symposium (S4), the Industrial Control Systems Joint Working Group (ICSJWG), and the RSA Conference. Sean is a graduate of the NSF/NSA Cyber Corps program at Idaho State University, and earned a second masters degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Phil Osman
Executive Advisor

Phil Osman is a successful senior executive with extensive leadership experience building and leading successful teams for global enterprises. During nearly 30 years at AT&T and AT&T Mobility, Phil held numerous high-level strategy, operating, and regulatory leadership positions. Most recently, Osman served as a senior advisor and solutions strategist for multiple organizations at Intel, including software and services, cloud and network technologies and products, and data and connectivity solutions.

During Phil’s career, he designed, launched, and scaled industry-defining mobile and digital networks, featuring advanced products, applications, and integrated cloud-based solutions for consumer and enterprise markets. Innovations include cross-platform mobile messaging and content delivery applications; secure and scalable enterprise services and tools across leading mobile and cloud platforms; and, most recently, scalable hardware and software solutions to accelerate the virtualization of network functions, the integration of network and cloud platforms, and the adoption of IoT applications.

Phil also served as a “change agent” to transform the performance of established products and services; launched new fixed (advanced broadband) and mobile (3G/4G/5G) connectivity solutions; integrated complex operations and business systems with advanced technology platforms to accelerate the adoption of new services; and aligned disparate teams with common goals to create customer satisfaction and enable global competitive advantages.

As an M&A leader, Phil orchestrated multiple aspects of some of the most disruptive global M&A initiatives in the communications and technology sectors, including the Cingular/AT&T Wireless merger.

Phil is a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders in global technology, communications, and multimedia, leading to results that accelerated the next generation of mobile and cloud-based digital networks, platforms, and services.
